I’m gonna try to summarize what we have done in today´s class, the 12th of March.
First of all we remembered the listening we did in the previous class, about the doctor´s bad luck. Then we learnt how telling or reacting to a story or anecdote. Now we know what expressions we have to use and how we should react to show our interest in somebody’s story.
After that we made an activity in pairs. We chose a paper where it was written a short story, and we had to tell our partner the story and she or he had to use the reaction expressions. Furthermore, we changed the papers between us and we talked to more mates, doing the same activity.
Next we worked in groups of four or three people and we told them our true stories about an encounter with the police, with an animal or an example of very bad luck. We heard very funny anecdotes.
Finally we debated about some María Dolores de Cospedal words concerning to the Day of the Working Woman and we made a listening about the ‘battle of the sexes’ and answered some teacher’s questions.
