Another short video on same theme with Leonardo DiCaprio

All the useful vocabulary about climate change, pollution and protests. Very correct subtitles in English clicking onto rectangle that looks like en envelope. ( only mistakes smelting = melting       (derritiendo) Nunavit = none of it and L'Agence ¨delegates (??!)

And DiCaprio speaks very clearly and it doesn't hurt that he's very nice to look at!

Short funny video clip from Friends with Robin Williams and Billy Crystal

Very funny. Robin Williams puts on a Spanish accent. Subtitles offered by clicking onto letter are TERRIBLE. Don't use them.

Important word : gynecologist (ginecólogo)

Pun ( play on words) You're in Sample (a town)
                                Urine sample (muestra de orina)

New Videos: UPDATED!

Some short video clips for practicing English.

1. Homeless people near Silicon Valley, one of the richest places in Calfornia and the US. Captions are TERRIBLE, but people are not too difficult to understand. You can see how there are people in the US too who are going through difficult times, and a lot of it just seems like luck. These homeless people seem peaceful and reasonably intelligent, just unlucky  CLICK HERE

2. Now a cutting-edge scientific video clip about quantum science. Rocío and those from the summer course who liked her talk will like this one. Or other science-oriented students like Alejandro, Carlos, José, David and others during the year who asked me for "more scientific videos". And all Saturday Big Bang Theory group! The captions or subtitles (click onto to small rectangle bottom right after making full screen)  are PERFECT!
