A video clip on the subject of medical marijuana-- FROM A RESEARCHER AT THE UCM!!  An opportunity to listen to a researcher who is working right here, getting world-wide recognition and speaking excellent English!  Good for those who want more science listenings and also for Con B2 because it's related to the roleplay we did!.There is also a text to read below.

a.  short video by a Hopi Indian chief about the philosophy of his people and why the USA (led not by the Hopis but by the "Americans from Europe" probably will not survive.His voice is very slow, clear and relaxing.  2 interesting statistics: before the white man arrived, there were 60 million Hopi Indians in North America but now there are 800,000 or .2% of the population.

b. All the useful vocabulary about climate change, pollution and protests. Very correct subtitles in English clicking onto rectangle that looks like en envelope. ( only mistakes smelting = melting       (derritiendo) Nunavit = none of it and L'Agence ¨delegates (??!)

And DiCaprio speaks very clearly and it doesn't hurt that he's very nice to look at!
