The summary about what we have done in class, the 11th of March
ResponderEliminarAs last March 8 ( Friday ) Was the International Working Women's Day (IWD), so we started the class with a debat on this controversial issue. We have addressed questions such as:
- Do you think there is still “Battle of sexes”?
- Have you heard any comment recently?
- What discrimination still exist or does not?
- Why should quotas still exist?
- Can a woman have it all today?
- …
Then, in order to practice the 3th conditional, we used cards and each one describes a funny story about bad luck. We had to read the story and try to tell it back to one of our partners.
After, we do a listening about the “Battle of the sexes” in which three women exposed their own opinion about the issue. Our task was to answer some questions that our teacher Kate had given us.
At the and, as homework, Kate suggested we see the link she has posted on the blog in order to comment on next Thursday class.
