Quip = short and often  sarcastic or clever remark or observation
Gaffe-prone  = with a tendency to put his foot in his mouth
Gaffe = metadura de pata verbal  ; prone = tendente a
Time warp =  unreal illusion about time. Someone who lives in a time warp thinks he is living at another historical moment. We also say “to be trapped in a time warp.”
