Sorry this is going up so late!  I hope you are planning and preparing your protest songs. Please post as a comment what song you're doing and with who, to avoid repetitions!!

Hi Group!

Still not feeling well, but I've decided to take Mohammed's idea of watching a part of Bowling for Columbine in last hour of class. I have a copy of the entire video but with subtitles in Spanish. I 've been trying to find a clip with subtitles in English online but only found with NO subtitles. It's short and you can watch before or after watching with the subtitles. CLICK HERE

Conversation B2 and C1: Protest Song material for Wed. and Thursday

1. I  planned to do a class on Crime and Punishment to talk about different crimes committed in the US and Spain and why they interest people. See 3 posts back. HOWEVER, I AM NOT VERY HAPPY TO SEE THAT ONLY 6 STUDENT TOTAL- FROM BOTH CLASSES  - bothered to look at the last post for Conversation B2/ C1. Please do it. I took the time to write and post it even though I had a fever!! We will do this topic as quickly as possible.
2. I had planned a class on Protest Songs for Wednesday / Thursday  But I will now combine it with the Crime and Punishment theme by bringing in the song Hurricane by Bob Dylan.  Please look at docs AND PRINT IF POSSIBLE. Listen to the song and read the lyrics at home at least once  and fill in some of the missing rhyming words.
